``To make sure no parent has to find their way back to themselves alone.``
Moira Keating, PhD
Author Moira Keating, PhD, is a writing and humanities professor trained at Columbia University in Narrative Medicine. With over two decades of experience as a writing instructor, Dr. Keating offers monthly online workshops designed specifically for parents and caregivers of children with medical complexities or disabilities.
To address the loneliness, fatigue, and isolation that are unique to parents and caregivers who live and love in the face of these medical complexities, Dr. Keating’s creative writing and storytelling workshops provide a healing space that prioritizes wellness, courage, and hope. Inspired by her personal experience raising a son with PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome (PHTS), these ongoing workshops are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST.
